Organic Shea Butter aids with the re-hydration of dry, chapped skin. It is solid at room temperature and melts on contact with the skin and may be used in a variety of formulations including lotions, creams, after-sun products, conditioners, body butters, luxury soaps, baby-care products and lip balms.
Organic Shea butter is extracted from Shea Nuts and it is unrefined and unprocessed.. This product is handcrafted in Ghana without the use of sophisticated machinery, therefore there may be some sediments present (tiny bits of the shell, plant fibres, etc.) It is solid at room temperature and has a melting point of 32’C-35’C but will re-solidify upon cooling. Store below 25’C in an airtight container away from light and moisture.
Raw Cacao (aka Cocoa) Butter generally has a soft, sweet cocoa aroma and it is one of the most stable fats known. It has been used to moisturize skin that has been exposed to the elements, and to keep skin supple. It makes a wonderful ingredient in lotion bars, lip balms, body butters, and soaps. Cocoa Butter contains natural antioxidants that prevent rancidity. This butter is crude, so very hard in consistency, and its natural range may comprise a light to darker colour, and a medium to stronger scent like a strong bitter chocolate.
Caution: Overheating this product will impact its fragrance. Please melt at as low a heat as possible while stirring gently, and use as soon as it is melted.
Shelf Life: This butter should be stored in a cool dark place and has a shelf-life of 1 year when stored properly.
